CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — Skies remain mostly cloudy over the Coastal Bend in the wake of a cold front that brought welcome rain and much cooler air to the region, and additional rain chances are in store for later this coming week.

Temperatures will remain below normal through Monday.

High pressure building into the region behind last night's front will clear out the moisture by late this evening, but after a partly cloudy Sunday return flow quickly brings back humidity.

A weak upper level disturbance gliding through the region will mean isolated, perhaps scattered, showers on Tuesday.

Other than a stray shower here and there, the best chance for rain otherwise will be on Saturday.

Daytime temperatures will warm gradually through the 80s during the week, with nighttime readings quickly returning to the middle 70s.
