UPDATE: Corpus Christi police said the four juveniles walked out of the building just 1:00 p.m. All were taken into custody.
Two suspects, one possibly armed, have barricaded themselves in an auto repair shop near Del Mar College.
Police have surrounded a shop in the 2800 block of Ayers near Shely,
Corpus Christi police shut down part of Ayers to keep traffic away from the crime scene. The Corpus Christi SWAT team arrived on the scene at about 11:50 a.m. Later, a drone was dispatched to hover over the area.
About 12:45 p.m., police on a loud speaker said: "Anthony, Carlos, anybody inside of the building come out with your hands up."
Del Mar College has tweeted an alert instructing students and staff to avoid the area.
"This is an ongoing police action is taking place across Ayers Street near Del Mar East Campus. Please avoid the area until all clear," the alert said.
