AUSTIN, Texas — An unexpected visitor from outer space lit up the night sky over some Texas cities last night.
A meteor that streaked through the sky was visible from College Station to Austin in central Texas.
It was also visible in parts of north Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma.
There's no word on where it landed.
Typically, most meteors burn up in the atmosphere.
