After rescuing a kitten from a crash before Hurricane Barry, a Texas Deputy adopts her.
The pictures of the adorable pair were uploaded to the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office Facebook page Monday afternoon.
It all happened as Hurricane Barry approached the Texas Coast. According to their post, Deputy Harry Guillot was responding to a crash and had to assist the driver into an ambulance due to injury. Deputy Giullot then noticed a baby kitten that was in the car unharmed. He handed off the kitten to Animal Control and contacted the driver later. The driver was no longer able to take care of the 4-week old kitten, so Deputy Guillot adopted the kitten, promptly naming her "Crash."
The post also mentions that Crash survived her first hurricane.
