LAREDO, Texas — Border Patrol agents just north of Laredo made a disturbing find.
They uncovered 13 immigrants hidden inside cardboard boxes.
These people were discovered inside a van at the checkpoint along Highway 35. They were all medically screened and cleared.
The immigrants are said to be from Mexico, El Salvador, Honduras and Ecuador.
The driver, who is an American, and a passenger were taken into custody.
