Police in San Antonio says at least two people are dead including a suspect who barricaded himself in a house, that later burned down.

Police were called to a house on Belden Avenue for reports of a man armed with an assault rifle.

As officers arrived at the scene shots were fired.

Investigators believe the standoff began with a domestic disturbance. It’s unclear who the second victim is.

Shortly before 6:00 p.m., police say the suspect and one other person were dead. No word on the condition of a third person who was also shot.

It is not clear when the suspect set the house fire or if he shot himself or if he was shot by police.
