A huge female tiger was found in an abandoned home in Houston. But it was found by people who went inside that abandoned home to smoke marijuana, according to Houston police officers.
The tiger was discovered Monday afternoon. But a tipster reported that he had seen the large animal last week.
When the tipster called 911, he said he thought he was hallucinating.
Houston police officers said they got a warrant to enter the home and discovered the tiger Monday.
Officers said the animal was in a cage, but they had to tranquilize the tiger to move her.
HPD officers said the tiger will be transported to an unknown facility Tuesday where she will permanently reside.
