A new bill introduced in Austin could allow liquor stores to be open on Sunday and could repeal the “Blue laws” in Texas.

WOAI News in San Antonio reports State Rep. Richard Peña Raymond, D-Laredo, has introduced House Bill 1100, which would allow liquor stores to be open seven days a week.

The new legislation would allow the stores to operate between 9 a.m. and 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 10 p.m. on Sunday WOAI News reports.
