A chimpanzee smashed a glass window at the Houston zoo, forcing the exhibit to evacuate.

The zoo says the window was part of the multilayer glass panel and no one was in danger.

The 14-chimpanzees at the habitat will be kept in their indoor facility until the glass is replaced.

The incident happened at the “African Forest” exhibit that re-opened a short time later.
