CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Officials still have not been able to identify the person killed in a rollover accident over the weekend.

It happened just after 2 a.m. on Saturday on Interstate Highway 37 and NPID.

That's where officers found a car on its hood, engulfed in flames.

Witnesses say they saw the car speeding when the driver took the exit for the flyover to Padre Island Drive just before it hit the guardrail, causing it to flip over and catch fire.

Police say the driver was not able to get out of the car and died.

The body was burned so badly, Police are not yet sure if the victim was a man or a woman.
