CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Their bags are packed and they're ready to go...
Over 2,400 new- and- returning students are moving into their dorms ahead of the school year at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
The Miramar Residence Hall was filled with suitcases and supplies to get these Islanders ready to ace the new year.
"Project Grad" topped off the special day with a community picnic for friends and family.
"We really want to create that community sense,” said Project Grad assistant director Deshawna Colvin. “A lot of parents are dropping their kids off today, moving them in, and we wanted that sweet goodbye."
