CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Our local public health district tells us they are doing their part to make sure everyone stays safe.
They've recently sent a letter with precautions to area restaurants.
"So that way they know if they have a case what the expectations are," said Annette Rodriguez, director of the Nueces County Public Health District. “Also to remind them that hand washing is so important because people are touching a lot of common areas.”
The health district has also advised area hospitals, schools and day cares to take the proper steps to ensure that their environment is safe.
