A NEW INDUSTRY HAS MADE ITS WAY TO TEXAS. — A new industry has made its way to Texas.

Legislation passed earlier this year will bring oyster farming to the state, but it will be regulated.

There's still a lot of work to be done before oyster farming is legal in our state.

But KRIS 6 News has learned that if all goes as planned. we could have Texas-grown oysters in local restaurants in the summer of 2021.
