CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Sam's Club is the latest company to offer higher wages for new hires.
The company plans to raise its starting wage to $15 an hour later this month.
Its current starting wage is $11 an hour.
The majority of Sam's Club employees already are at the $15 dollar mark.
The maximum hourly wage will also see an increase to $34 per hour.
