WASHINGTON, D.C. — President Biden's proposed social spending package will look a lot smaller if passed.

The president announced he'll drop the tuition-free community college and would reduce the amount of money for home care for the elderly and disabled.

Biden said the final bill will likely carry a price tag of just under $2 trillion. He also indicated the bill would extend the child tax credit for another year, which is shorter than what he originally wanted.
