Today marks an important anniversary in the race to the moon.

Apollo 11 lifted off from the Kennedy space center in Florida 50 years ago today.

Four days later, Humans landed on the moon for the first time ever.

It was Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin in the Lunar Module Eagle who landed on the Moon's Surface

NASA recently announced a new mission to return to the moon, the goal of the Artemis mission to send men and women back to the moon by 2024.
