ALBUQUERQUE, NM – Hundreds of hot air balloons took to the skies this Saturday morning over Albuquerque, New Mexico.
And the weather was perfect as the lift-off started shortly after sunrise.
This is the 47th Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta which draws about one-million visitors to central New Mexico.
The theme of this year’s festival is “Carry Me Away.”
There are so many hot air balloons participating in the event that they have to launch in two waves.
