ST. LOUIS (KSDK) — Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Ill. shared a photo of seven of the eight pregnant nurses that all work with the same department at the hospital.
All eight nurses specialize in labor and delivery as well as newborn care, which will come in handy when they all are expected to go into labor at about the same time.
Rebecca Eggering, a registered nurse in the hospital’s nursery, said the group is sharing in its unique connection.
“Yeah, it’s really exciting,” she said about her co-worker, Sara Grotefendt. “I’ve delivered both of her other kids. We’re due five days apart so we’re hoping that continues and I can do the third one too.”
There are another six pregnant ICU nurses at Anderson Hospital.
