CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — One of our parks along the Bayfront is getting a face lift.
Crews are making repairs to Doddridge park over on Ocean Drive near Doddrige Street.
In May 2014, the sidewalks at the park began sinking because of erosion and a foundation problem.
The following year a sinkhole opened up under a stairway, and a retaining wall began to collapse.
They've since removed the stairs and replaced the sidewalk.
Crews are now planning to plant new grass at the park.
