CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — Fire investigators are continuing to determine what caused a fire that killed a dog and a cat.
The fire broke out inside of a mobile home in the 800 blocks of West Lakeside Drive, off N.A.S. Drive around 9:08 p.m. Sunday.
When firefighters arrived, they said they saw heavy flames and smoke coming out the front side of the mobile home.
The residents of the mobile home were not inside the home when the fire broke out.
Two pets inside the home did not make it out.
It took firefighters 15 to 20 minutes to get the fire under control.
