W.B. Travis Elementary has canceled classes due to a power outage.
The school announced on its Facebook page about an hour ago that children are being released to their parents in light of the cancellation.
Due to the power outage, lunch can not be served at the school.
Phones at the school are also down due to the lack of electricity, and the remaining children who have not been picked up are in the cafeteria.
Parents will need to sign out their student.
