CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — If you're looking to help some kiddos in the area have a wonderful holiday, the Coastal Bend's own and Texas Ranger catcher, Jose Trevino, is holding his fourth toy drive Saturday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Trevino's fourth annual toy drive is helping students from Westside Helping Hand, an organization that provides after-school care for single parent households or families on the poverty line.

Trevino was seen at Target early Saturday shopping for toy donations as well.

Trevino said he loves giving back to the Coastal Bend, the area he calls home.

“I think it'd be good just to give back, kind of even more now ya know, since times are a little rough, said Trevino.

To participate in the toy drive, all you have to do is bring an unwrapped toy to Westside Helping Hands at 3146 Highland Ave. in Corpus Christi.

The toy drive is a drive-thru event, and volunteers will be taking COVID-19 precautions.

For every toy you bring, you will receive a raffle ticket for Texas Rangers memorabilia.

Santa and the Grinch will be in attendance, and there will be hot chocolate at the entrance.
