CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — St. James Episcopal School has been closed by a power outage at the school.
In a message to parents, school officials said that five transformers blew around the school earlier this morning. It resulted in no power at the middle school, in the Jim Foster Hall and the school offices.
Students who had already arrived at school were asked to be taken home by their parents and will be asked to return to school when they have power recovered.
