CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — How about Santa Claus with a Gulf Coast twist?
Professional sand sculptor Albert Lucio Sr. built this massive Santa Claus on the beach at Port Aransas for last week's lighted boat parade.
People are encouraged to take pictures in front of the giant sculpture, but not to get too close.
It's part of “Light Up Port,” a holiday display put on by the Port Aransas Chamber of Commerce and Tourist Bureau.
