CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A special memorial walk was held Friday morning along the bayfront in honor the people who lost their lives on September 11th, 19 years ago.
The walk was organized by Adriana Cano, a member of the Refinery Terminal Fire Department.
Every year she takes part in the San Antonio 9-11 1-10 Memorial Climb. She wasn't able to do it this year because of the pandemic.
Today's walk equals the same distance of the climb.
It was also dedicated to the memory of a RTFD captain who recently passed away.
