ROBSTOWN, TX — Some kids got some early Christmas presents.
Robstown ISD handed out wrapped gifts to 200 students Wednesday. The kids were nominated by teachers or community members.
This is the second year for "The Cotton Christmas Project."
The presents were donated by school staff, community members and local businesses.
However, due to COVID-19, the kids weren't able to unwrap their gifts at school, instead the district held a drive-thru event for the presents to be picked up.
