Corpus Christi Police Department officers are investigating a reported aggravated robbery at Shoreline Pharmacy.

Ofc. John Holthouse said two men, only described as "tall," took an unknown amount of money and narcotics and escaped on foot.

The pharmacy, located at 1335 Santa Fe, near CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Shoreline, reported the incident at about 6 p.m. Monday.

No one was hurt, but the store owner and a witness were in the building when the robbery took place.

The reported robbers face first-degree felony charges since police were told a handgun was used in the crime. The suspects could face 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

Police said similar crimes have been reported in the area, specifically on nearby Booty Street.

Police still are on-scene and the investigation remains active.
