CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Some city workers will have to work on a Sunday to patch potholes that opened all over town thanks to all the rain.

City Manager Peter Zanoni has activated street operations crews to report to work tomorrow for a full eight-hour shift. There will be three, four-person crews on the job Sunday and seven, four person crews on the job until Friday.

Zanoni said the goal was to get a head start in patching all the potholes.

It will take several days to get the job done.
