A large crowd gathered at Sacred Heart Catholic Church earlier this evening for a celebration in honor of 'Our Lady of Guadalupe.'
This procession left Sacred Heart Church and proceded up Lipan Street to the Corpus Christi Cathedral.
It commemorates the appearance of the Virgin Mary near Mexico City on this day back in 1531.
According to Catholic tradition, the Virgin Mary appeared to St. Juan Diego.
