A prayer vigil is being held for the New Hampshire couple found dead at a local beach.

The bodies of James and Michelle Butler were positively identified by the Nueces County Medical Examiner on Friday. The couple vanished in mid-October according to family and friends. The Butlers told family and friends that they would be spending a few days in the Coastal Bend before they headed to Florida. The family lost contact with the couple on October 16 and soon filed a missing persons report.

Their remains were found on Sunday, October 27 buried in sand south of Bob Hall Pier near Beach Marker 263 on Padre Island. The medical examiner ruled their deaths as homicides. The Kleberg Sheriff's Office continues searching for the couple's truck and camper which are missing and for persons of interest.

The Padre Island Neighbors are holding the prayer vigil to the right of Bob Hall Pier parking lot.

It's scheduled for this Saturday, which happens to be All Souls Day, from 6:30 to 7 p.m.
