The Port of Corpus Christi is doing tons of business -- 12.2 million tons to be exact.
That's how much tonnage moved through the port last month, and that's the highest volume ever for a single month.
The 12.2 million tons figure is 27 percent higher than the previous record set just this past March.
The port also set records for the highest quarter ever, at just over 32 million tons, and highest tonnage for the first nine months of the year at more than 84 million.
