PORT ARANSAS, Texas — Some Port Aransas residents say coyote sightings are becoming more frequent there.
In fact, there were several sightings on the campus of a Port Aransas school.
Several weeks ago a middle school student was walking to school early in the morning when a security officer spotted a coyote nearby.
The officer scared the coyote off and thankfully it did not come near the student.
But that wasn't the only sighting.
Another parent says she saw one on the same campus last week, and it seems they're being spotted more and more.
