The Texas A&M University Coastal Bend Health Education Center will host its second annual Por Tu Salud health fair and walk from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1 at La Palmera Mall.
The public is invited to join a team member for a walk-and-talk at 6 p.m. at the mall's center court in celebration of World Diabetes Day.
Team members include a pharmacist, an exercise physiologist, a certified diabetes educator, a registered dietitian, a registered nurse and a community health worker.
The event also includes free health screenings, free flu vaccines, cooking demo, education, diabetes bingo, a free prize raffle and physical activity.
