CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Police chief Mike Markle says organized crime is responsible for a recent rash of aggravated robberies across Corpus Christi.
Markle said that several arrests have been made in connection with these crimes.
Markle says his department has been using a “CompStat Process” where they review crimes and then gauge what offenses are surging in the area. The police department has been running an operation in partnership with the DA’s office that involves undercover officers.
