CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Police say a distracted driver is to blame for a head-on crash on Shoreline.
A woman told officers she was headed south on Shoreline Monday morning when she reached down to pick up something.
When she looked up, she had driven into the opposite lane where she slammed into an SUV.
Both drivers were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The driver who took her eyes off the road was expected to be issued a ticket.
