Police arrest juveniles after crashing stolen car

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — Three teens are taken into custody after police say they stole a vehicle.

The incident happened after 7 a.m. Friday at the intersection of Yorktown and Waldron Road.

According to police, the teens, one of them armed with a gun, crashed a stolen vehicle. All the suspects tried to flee the scene, however, two were quickly arrested. However, one suspect fled into the brush around the area.

Police closed off the intersection and searched for the teen. Firefighters helped police officers by deploying a drone over the area.

Police found the last suspect around 9 a.m. Friday. Two teens were taken to the Nueces County juvenile justice center. One was released to his parents.
