CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The power went out for a neighborhood close to Morgan Avenue and SPID.
According to AEP officials, a transformer failed in the area around 5:07 pm. Within 30 minutes, AEP managed to restore about 200 outages and by 6:45 pm they restored another 680. Approximately 300 are still without power.
The estimated restoration time is currently 9:30 this evening.
