CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — We’re getting a frontline report on the war on drugs.
The information came from the Nueces County Sheriff's Office and other area law enforcement agencies.
On Sept. 11-12, “Operation Poison Pipeline”, targeted 25 miles of highways that run through Nueces County.
Thirty-five law enforcement agents over those two days made four arrests,
One of them included a seizure of $318,000, money believed to be tied to drug smuggling and human trafficking.
We’ll tell you more about this operation’s success and future plans to continue to do this.
