CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A road will not be built through the project site for the new Carroll High School.
City transportation plans had extensions scheduled for both sections of Carroll Lane.
One of them would have gone through the new Carroll High property, costing the school more than 200 parking spots.
The city council voted today to nix that road, and just build the one to the north of the property.
Council member Gil Hernandez was the only vote for keeping both road extensions over concerns about traffic.
