A new city ordinance that focused on the homeless problem in Blucher Park has gone into effect.
The ordinance became official last Tuesday and prohibits sleeping or eating in the park, and bans several items.
The park also has new operating hours, closing at 8pm instead of 10pm.
Those against the ordinance say, it discriminates against the homeless.
Police say, for now, they are making sure people who visit the park know about the new rules.
They haven't started issuing citations just yet.
