CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Mustang Island State Park is now open after they announced that most of the Hurricane Hanna clean up efforts were completed.
"We are happy to announce that we have completed cleanup of some of the large scale damage caused by Hurricane Hanna and that will be reopening the park tomorrow, Thursday August 6th," said a post from the state park's Facebook page yesterday.
Their hours will return to Thursday through Sunday and reservations will still be required in advance as they have limited space and book quickly.
"We are currently sold out of day-use passes for this weekend but there are some still remaining for next Thursday and Friday... so act fast," said their post.
