CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — A man is facing several charges, including resisting arrest and assaulting two police officers.

The Aransas Pass Police Department posted a video on their Facebook page of the incident.

In the video, you see officers responding to reports of a man under the influence in the Walmart parking lot Wednesday morning.

When officers tried to talk to the man, later identified as 33-year-old Jesse Rose, the man acts strangely and appears to not listen to Aransas Pass police officers. Several more officers arrive at the scene, and Rose is taken into custody.

Later in the day, officers are seen with the suspect inside a jail holding area and are in the middle of transferring Rose to the San Patricio County Jail. In the video, Rose is seen charging a female officer, removing a taser, and pointing the weapon at another officer.

A brief struggle ensues, and Rose is seen in the video ending up on the ground and continuing to fight with officers. During the altercation, Rose allegedly bites another officer before he is again taken into custody.

Rose is charged with possession of heroin, failing to ID, escaping, taking a weapon from an officer, evading arrest, resisting arrest, and faces two counts of assault of a peace officer.

Rose now sits behind bars over at the San Patricio County Jail.
