CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — It was a solemn scene this afternoon at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
Dozens of people were there to pay their last respects to Navy veteran Don Lesley Ward.
Ward died without leaving any known family, but these folks who never knew him answered the call to come and witness his burial.
And it was a fitting tribute to a man who served his nation.
