We've received many, many calls to our newsroom about the pixelated, fuzzy picture and spotty audio on KRIS 6 News. We apologize profusely for that.
Our transmitter froze Sunday night during the worst of our recent winter storm, and we were finally about to get back on the air Wednesday morning.
Please bear with us. Much like us, it's likely gonna take the transmitter a few days to warm up and hit its stride. It's a South Texas transmitter -- it's not used to these temperatures, either.
