CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Joel Gonzales was found guilty of sexual assault on Friday and will serve a 10-year sentence
Gonzales, a maintenance worker who assaulted a tenant at his apartment complex while responding to a rodent problem.
After a four-day jury trial, prosecutors met with the victim, who consented to plead the case during the trial's punishment phase.
This case was tried by lead attorney ADA Jared Horton and Trial Chief/ADA Angelica Hernandez.
