CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — Investigators with the Nueces County Medical Examiner's Office have confirmed the identity of a man's body who was found Thursday morning.
A surveyor working on the new Harbor Bridge project near Crosstown and I-37 made the gruesome discovery after spotting a decomposed body.
Investigators say the man has been identified as 59-year-old Shannon Thompson.
According to investigators, there were no signs of foul play, and forensic examiners say his death appears to be natural causes.
