The Ingleside Police Department is inviting the public to assist in a Teacher Supply Drive.
According to edweek.org, the average teacher spends nearly a half grand of their own money on their students ever year. The Ingleside Police Department, Municiple Courts, and Fire Department want to help out how they can.
The Teacher Supply Drive is going on now until until August 9 and you can donate at the Ingleside Public Safety Building, 2425 8th Street, Ingleside, TX 78362.
Here is a list of items they will be looking for:
- Hand Sanitizer
- Facial Tissues
- Pencils
- Post-It Notes
- Ink Pens
- Dry Erase Markers
- Highlighters
- Erasers
- Glue Sticks
- Rulers
- Crayons
- Folders
- Loose Leaf Paper
- Spiral Notebooks
- Composition Books
- Classroom Decor
Supplies will be donated to Ingleside ISD school teachers.
