CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Some people scored a great deal on regular unleaded gasoline today.
It was briefly going for $1.09 per gallon at the Circle K on Up River Road and Rand Morgan.
But before you hop in the car to try and fill up, gas prices are now back to $2.09 per gallon.
It was the store's grand opening today and the cheap gas was part of a promotional event.
Customers not only got fuel discounts, but there were giveaways along with food sampling.
The new store is located at 9401 Up River Road.
