CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A wanted fugitive is in custody tonight.
The U.S. Marshals got word a man wanted for a probation violation was staying at the Intown Suites on Oakhurst, near the Cracker Barrel Restaurant on SPID.
When marshals identified themselves to him, the man tried to run and was hit by a police car.
He was taken to the hospital to be checked and is expected to be O.K.
The suspect now faces an additional charge of a felon in possession of a firearm.
