CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A local church was doing their part to make sure kiddos have a gift to open this Christmas.
Tuesday evening, organizers with Church Unlimited - Westside Missions campus held their "Christmas Toy Store" event where they were giving out free toys near Miller High School.
They also provided free groceries, haircuts, and even clothes as well.
Organizers said this is their first time opening something like a free "Christmas Store" for families.
They were able to help over 850 kids Tuesday evening.
